Print Green: Digital Future

Pinot_BinRSWhat color of wine do you prefer? Red, white, or rosé?  What about green?

Within the pages of color and aroma, you can read about people in the world of wine who apply that passion for producing fine wine to streamlining the resource expenditure used to develop each bottle.  Whether cutting energy costs with gravity flow winemaking or adapting vineyard vehicles to run on biodiesel, many winemakers today commit themselves to reducing the “carbon footprint” of their winemaking process.

At color and aroma, we support the efforts of those in and out of the wine industry who take strong steps to minimize the release of excess carbon into the atmosphere. One way we choose to work toward a solution is to print digitally as often as possible. We also want to ensure that our print magazine efficiently reaches those readers open to our message that wine can be transformative and enjoyable for a wide range of individuals who approach it with an open mind and a willingness to taste. Reflecting our commitment to producing killer content about wine and to present it in a way that reflects a sensitivity to the environment, color and aroma will focus on our digital publication in the next few months while we develop a solid plan for producing the print magazine in a sustainable and thoughtful manner.
